Khanjahan Ali Bridge or Rupsha Bridge:

Khanjahan Ali Bridge is one of the largest bridges built over the Rupsha River. It is also known as Rupsha Bridge. The distance of the bridge from Rupsha Ghat in Khulna city is 4.60 km. The bridge is called the gateway to Khulna city because it connects Khulna directly with the southern districts, especially with the Mongla seaport. The length of the bridge is about 1.60 km. This bridge connecting Bagerhat and Barisal is one of the main routes of this city. There are separate safe lanes for motor vehicles, motorized vehicles and pedestrians. Incumbent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone of the Japanese-built bridge and Khaleda Zia inaugurated it. Another special feature of this bridge is that it has a total of four steps, two at each end, which makes it easy to climb the main bridge. Lots of visitors come to visit the bridge every day.

Coming to Khulna from Dhaka:

By Air: You will arrive at Jessore Airport by air from Dhaka. You will come to Khulna directly by bus from Jessore. By river: Rocket steamer or ship in Bengali / Madhumati to Moralganj or Hularhat by bus. 

By bus: Khulna can be reached in two ways by bus from Dhaka From Dhaka directly cross Paturia Padmanadi Ghat via Aricha to Faridpur Magura Jessore via Khulna or from Dhaka directly cross Mawa Ghat via Faridpur Bhanga Thana via Gopalganj to Bagerhat via Khulna. Many buses leave from Dhaka's Saidabad and Gabtoli bus stations every day from 8 am to 10 pm, such as Travels, Eagle, Sohag Paribahan if you want to reach Aricha, and Tungi Para Paribahan, Falguni, Hanif Paribahan from Gulistan.

The fare for all transport is 500 rupees, AC 600 rupees. Trains: The Sundarbans and Chitra Express trains leave Dhaka every morning and afternoon for Khulna. Mahindra, easybike, rickshaw or battery auto from anywhere in Khulna city to come to Rupsha bridge only 15/20 rupees fare
